ok ok i won't be a coward- i know i didn't get in not because i received anything official but that a friend of mine who was accepted posted in his status what a great time he had at the graduate studies welcome banquet. yea_i was semi-annoyed that they didn't even think it worth 47cents to officially decline my application...
moving on. no hard feelings :)

It has always perplexed me why some graduate programs do not take the time to notify everyone of their admission status, *especially* the people who are not admitted. It's common courtesy!
