my year at home idly wandering around DC, house sitting, volunteering, and making grown-ups feel sure of themselves in spandex will be over before i know it.
still no word as to whether i got accepted into the photoj grad program. eh. i want it to come so i can start solidifying other decisions.
by the end of the year i will have amassed enough money to iether
- start somewhere new; aside from family- no one really ties me to DC (which would mean Oregon)
- buy a canon 5d mark ii with hd vid and a redline lens*an absolute for photoj grad school
- go on a month sabbatical to travel around Europe like a hobo. (the level of enthusiasm for this plan wanes in and out...it's dependent on the weather and exchange rates_of each passing day_)
after 3 months of rehabilitation and rest- i ran my first 11 minute mile today. Goal to be reached by the middle or end of May---- 5 ten minute miles and the ability to swim 1 mile at moderate speed non-stop. cardio <3
