I woke up this morning read and then skimmed a few of the nytimes headlines and then promptly signed on fb for a quick status update.
This quote showed up-
"those who can, do; those who can't, Lie." Watch out!
i have a problem with this quote for several reasons. first, this statement is filled with a whole lot of fear and mistrust. Second, it does not address those who "try to do".
It makes forgiveness hard since it assumes that all lies are premeditated.
