Little Brown Mushroom

This is a blog run by the established, well-liked, and exceptionally talented group of photographer (aka my idols)s: Alec Soth, Brad Zellar, Carrie Elizabeth Thompson, Charlie B. Ward, and their crew of interns.
The article that this link will take you to from their blog is specifically a discussion about being both a mother and artist in life. Because being a mother did not apply to me and i have no idea when or even if i will become one, it made more sense to read it as just a discussion of career versus personal life. Introductory comments by Paula McCartney and Linda Rossi in particular stuck out to me as thoughtful and honest.

unrelated note- So pleased that my essay on the 8th grade punk rock band has turned into a humorous and light hearted coming of age story about a 14 year old who is doing his best to assume the punk rock lifestyle. There will also be a short video separate from the one teen I focused on that is a commitment to the band and all of it's members. I did a casual filming during one of their practices. My edit hopes to provide the audience a general idea of who each individual is. Excited to wrap it up. Hopefully a few of them will still remember to call me when they play shows in DC because these five teenagers are exceptionally cool.

is it bad that i recommended the movie Ghost World? :P
