Yesterday, I trekked from the bridge separating D.C. and Georgetown(Wisconsin Ave) all the way to 41st Calvert street yesterday, then rewarded myself with a strawberry cupcake from Baked and Wired. Along with the other glowing reviews from several established foodie blogs I can honestly add this post with confidence to the rest in saying that the other blogs are indeed correct about Baked and Wired- They out do Georgetown Cupcake (really tiny considering the price) and Hello Cupcake (one doesn't pay for the taste of these cupcakes but the unmatched superb consitency of the cake and frosting) at Dupont Circle. Hope my pictures convince you to check them out- they are tucked away on a quieter quaint side street right Before barnes and noble in Georgetown. Death by Chocolate was for my brother.
Someday I hope to visit Trophy Cupcake in Seattle Washington to try their very curious PB&J cupcake.
